Karen Katzmark began her journey of massage in 1989 by attaining her Swedish Massage Certificate of 100 hours from Southern California School of Massage in Riverside Ca where she actually attended in Palm Springs and Hemet. Several years later Karen continued her massage studies and achieved a Certified Massage Therapist Certificate completing 600 hours from Baum Healing Arts Center in Carson City NV in 2001. Karen then began her career as a full time massage therapist in San Juan Capistrano. After meeting several challenges, Karen transferred her hours from Baum Healing Arts Center to Healing Hands School of Holistic Health and completed a Holistic Health Practitioner Certificate in 2006. Karen’s Love for the Healing Arts has also inspired her to travel as far as Chiang Mai Thailand where she completed her Thai Massage Teacher Training Certificate in 2006 and also becoming a Reiki Master in 2008. Karen has attended the School of Healing Arts in San Diego to study Zen Touch Shiatsu in 2008. Karen currently is still on call for a 5 diamond resort in Dana Point CA and has her own practice in San Clemente, CA and is finding her true passion in teaching massage.
